The short version

Episode zero introduces Rethink your priors, a series of short, deadpan videos by Eduardo Martínez. He tried making videos the usual way, with a ring light, a good angle and a hook in the first three seconds. Then he remembered he has two kids, a full-time job and forty-seven AI agents to babysit, so he made a show that doesn't need a camera. Every episode is about a minute long, narrated over crude stick-figure drawings. There are two kinds. The first is about actually implementing AI: outcomes over tools, starting with what you want done instead of which robot is trending. The second is everything else: tech news, tech drama from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Meta and Apple, and opinions. Every episode ends the same way. Start from the outcome. Or don't.

Rethink your priors.

Hi. I'm Eduardo. This is episode zero. The one before the first one. Engineers love that.

A while ago, I tried making videos like the cool kids. Ring light. Good angle. A hook in the first three seconds.

Then I remembered I have two kids. Five, and two.

A full-time job.

Swim class. Dance class. Spanish class. Ice skating. Fúbol class.

And forty-seven agents to babysit.

They don't nap either.

Life got busy.

Also, every video seemed to need a random prop. A rubber chicken. A tiny guitar. Something for engagement.

So I figured out how to make content without sitting in front of a camera.

This is me now.

Here's the deal. Two kinds of episodes.

First. My take on actually implementing AI. Outcomes over tools. Start with what you want done, not which robot is trending.

Second. Everything else. Tech news, tech drama, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Meta, Apple, and my opinions on stuff.

Anyway. Start from the outcome. Or don't. I'm not your manager. Follow for more.
